About us

Empowering communities, educating children, improving lives. We are committed to supporting orphans, abandoned, and vulnerable children, while empowering communities to take charge of their futures.

Longarm Child Care was founded in 2021 as a direct result of research into the challenges faced by street children. We were established to create a safe haven and offer new opportunities for orphaned, neglected, and abandoned children. We empower communities by building their capacity to address these challenges themselves, ensuring sustainable and locally-driven change.

Community Empowerment

We equip vulnerable communities with tools and opportunities to take charge of their futures. Through training, business start-ups, and collective action, we foster agency and sustainable change.

Education

Education is the foundation of opportunity. We ensure underprivileged children have access to lifelong learning, developing critical skills for school, work, and community life.

Health

Children’s health is our priority. We connect families to health resources, advocate for child health policies, and ensure that every child has a healthy start in life.
